Wright County lies in East Central Minnesota, bordered on the north by theMississippi River and the east by the Crow River. Buffalo was established as the County seat in 1868 and is the County’s 2ndlargest City with a 2009 population of 14,193. Seventeen cities and 18 townshipsexist in the county, which has a total estimated 2009 population of 120,684.
